VTC CONFERENCE WITH MICHAEL

Well yesterday was a very exciting day! The boat started a program called VTC, that is where you are able to go into a room for about 15 and do a conference via satalite with your spouse. Its been hard over the past few months because the boat has been working very hard to get the program set up. Yesterday was the 1st day of it and not only was it exciting but I was a bit nervious because I had the 1st time slot. It was at 1pm here my time and it was midnight there on the boat. So I got there a bit early and waited, finally was the moment when the guy walked in and said " are you ready to see your husband" all I could do was say " yes I am very ready". So I walked into the room and there he was sitting in a chair and looked so cute I must add. I sat down at a desk and looked at a TV screen and I could see him, as big as the screen. But I also could see myself in the bottom part of the TV in a small box. He on the other side could see the same, me as big as the screen and then him in a tiny box. We started to talk and it was just neat to see him and his face. He has lost a bunch of weight and you can really tell in his face. He looked really good, but very tired. Had a smile from ear to ear thats for sure. I finally got the nerve to ask him so are you ready, do you want to see my belly and how I have grown. He responded with " yes" and so I stood up and showed him. The look on his face I will never forget in a million years. Once I got done I sat down and said " well...", he was so suprised and all he could say was wow. You really are big in the belly. I think that it finally hit him that there was our two babies growing so fast inside me. It was a really neat experience and something I will never forget! I wanted to take Brenden, but we decided that wasnt such a great idea. He has had a very hard time since daddy left and so we figured that it would be just best not to do that. Brenden is keeping track daily of when his daddy will return. We are now half way and he will be home soon. I am looking so forward to the home comming and just being able to wrap my arms around him again. I must say I will be so glad when we go on shore duty for the next 3 years. This has been and experince for all of us, and yet a chance in a life time for him. I am so glad that he was able to have this opportunity to go there and take part on this and on the newest carrier in the navy. WOW what an honnor! There has been many happy and sad times along the way but soon their misson will be over and michael will finally be home. So as I have said before please keep him in your thoughts and prayers always. I will be keeping you up to date as time goes on. We love and miss you all......

FINALLY DADDY KNOWS WHAT WE ARE HAVING!!!!!

Ok well its finally out, even though everyone knew yesterday was the big day. I just couldnt update with out Daddy knowing first. Yesterday I went to the Dr and had my 20 week sono gram. Wow what an experience that was! In a matter of min, I was able to know how our babies were doing and also that we were blessed with a BOY and a GIRL! I must say its truley a blessing and we would never have had this opportunity if it wasnt for the lord above. After two long years of trying, and then to find out that we are having one of each. I truley feel like the luckiest family alive. As for the Dr visit, it was so exciting. The Dr did all the measurments and stuff first and then we got to see them play. She is very calm and just lays around. She likes to play but you can tell she is going to be the calm one. As for him well, that speaks for itself. As you can see he is very much a show off and loves to show his butt. He loves to mess with his sister and tries to get into her space. Yesterday she finally had enough and put her butt up to him and was like " leave me alone". It was really cute and I had a great time! The Dr also said that they are now head down. She is a bit lower then him, which is the reason when I stand up I often feel they will fall out lol... But they are both pretty much the same size. She is 23 oz and he is 20 oz. So she is bigger then him by about 3 days. Either way they are both strong and healthy and growing very fast! I go back to the Dr this thurs, just to have a normal Dr appt and also to get the blood results of the downs test I took a few weeks ago. Also on April 4th I will be going to have my 4D ultrasound done. I am very excited to see them again. This time there will be lots of pictures taken and even a video for daddy. I will keep you all up to date on the newest infprmation. We love you and miss you all!!!!!

The Pictures are as follows: # 1 is our proud little boy, # 2 is our little girl facing down

OUR NEW TABLE SET!!!

Just wanted to share with everyone our new family table and server. Now that we are a bigger family I felt that we would need much more room at the kitchen table. I had it delivered today and then of course had to go out and buy all the extra's just to add that special touch. I am really big on oak and cream so I think together this really looks good. Also with the new server, as you can see it has a wine rack. I fell in love with that part, just because everytime that Mike is in another country he always brings wine home. So far we have wine from Chillie,Peru,Hawaii. I am looking forward to what he brings home this time..

Just wanted to share with everyone what my husband sent home to me. I have been asking him for two years for a camono. And that when he went over seas to please to get me one. While he was in Singapore he found this really nice one. I think that it is so beautiful and it feels so perfect. Thank you honey! Also he got brenden a really neat T-shirt and and so this week I will be sure to take a picture of him in it and post that too. Its so neat all the things that they have over seas. I told mike that this is a true chance in a life time and I wish that we could be together doing it, but I am at least able to share it with him by pictures and stories.......We love and miss him and are truley counting the days down. We now have 126 days to go and cant wait!
