OUR 1ST NIGHT OUT ALONE!

This weekend was sure nice, Mike and I were able to get a babysitter and we had a wonderful night out alone. He took me to one of our most favorite resturants, (showgun) and we were able to enjoy some wonderful steak and lobster. Mike got me a really neat drink that was made out of fresh fruits and boy was that good. Then we went down town to a place here called the gas lamp. We walked around and stoped at a few bars and had some drinks, played pool and danced. It was hard being away from our kids, but it was sure nice just to get a break and get away. Then the next morning, mike let me sleep in and he cooked me breakfast in bed. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, biscuts and gravy, orange juice, I would say pretty much the works. I am truley blessed to have such a wonderful and loving husband. Not to mention the best dad I know....

JUST A FEW NEW PICTURES!

Just wanted to share with you all some new pictures that were taken tonight after their baths. They both are so sweet and just love being together and sharing time side by side....

WELCOME OUR NEWEST ADDITIONS TO OUR FAMILY!

Just wanted to share with everyone our new picture of the twins. Christian is always so alert and wanting to see the world. Isabella is not that way, she could care less what goes on around her. I think that because she was the one always awake at all hours and kicking and punching her brother, she finally decided to calm down a bit. All she seems to care about now is sleeping.. LOL I hope that everyone is doing well. As for here, just a bit of an update, Daddy is going out to sea for his last time this week. I cant believe our time is finally up here already. It seems as though the past two years have blew by. West pac was a huge challage in our lives, but it was definatly a learning exp and helped us to grow. Now as we get ready to face new things. Mike will say goodbye to the USS RONALD REAGAN. He will be leaving for school to FL in about two weeks. Then he will make his way to his new duty station in PA. Brenden the twins and I will be heading that way soon too. We plan to meet daddy in Pa on the 21st of Oct. As I mentioned before our new nanny and my dad will be making that raod trip with me. I look forward to all our new adventures and am excited about what the future holds for us. We hope that all is well with everyone and please know that we love and miss everyone. I will be sure to keep everyone up to date on whats going on as the weeks continue.... Love you all

A NEW UPDATE!!!!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone and let everyone know that we are doing ok. I know that I havent updated much lattley but things have been kinda crazy around here. As you all know Christian finally came home last week and things have been great! Its so great to have him finally home. We have been watching him alot and just taking it one day at a time... With his two conditions we just pray alot and have faith that the lord is with us always. We know that in our hearts he will never give us more then we can handle.
Also things have been kinda crazy, due to the fact we found out last week that Mike will FINALLY be leaving the USS RONALD REAGAN. WOO HOO Mike got orders to go recruiting back east and so we are on our way.. We didnt exspect to be moving so fast. We honestly thought that once he got back from pac we would have until the end of the year, maybe even the begining of next year. It didnt turn out that way. He will be leaving to go to recruiting school here Sept 8th and will graduate Oct 20th. I will be moving out of our house here in San Diego Oct 6th and will be spending about two weeks with family. Then we will be on our way to the east coast... I am really excited that we are finally able to go back east, but yet I will truley miss my family and friends here. Its been a great two years and there are many important people and important things that I have done that I will never forget.
I am really looking forward to our move. Even though things will be pretty crazy around here we will just take it one day at a time. We are in the process of looking at some homes to buy, and the best part is that they are so much cheaper out there.... We can get exactly what we want and yet still only pay a small amount. Yet another positive note is that we hired a nanny to go with us to pa and she is great! She is excited about going with us and starting a life in pa. Another things is that I decided to drive to pa, due to the fact that the navy doesnt move our cars. We must pay to move them or drive. So we are both driving. Mike is going to drive to FL for school and then I will be driving with the kids and our new nanny and best of all my dad has decided to go with me to help me drive.... WOO HOO I am so excited that he is not only helping me, but that we will get the chance to drive cross country and have a awsome road trip... Well anyways I just wanted to update a little bit and add some new pictures. I will be pretty busy these next few weeks with Dr appt and mike has one last underway that he has to go on before leaving the boat next week so I will be sure to update when I can. I hope that everyone is well and know that we love and miss you all..... Take care and we will talk yo everyone soon...

CHRISTIAN FINALLY CAME HOME!!!!

Hello to everyone, just a short update to let everyone know that tonight Christian came home from the NICU. Its been a long 3 weeks, but we are finally a whole family and together where we belong.... I really hated him being up there, but I know in my heart that it was what was best for him for the time being. He was small and needed to get better.... He is still having some breathing issuses so I am always watching him and making sure he is ok and breathing ok. Also they did send him home with the heart meds. He was diagnosed with SVT and so he will continue to be on heart meds for a while... We will be seeing his Cardiologist at the end of the month so that they can check him and run some test to see where we are at... I will be sure to keep you all up to date and let you know everything as soon as I know things... Lets see what else, oh today at the Dr Bella was 6 pounds 7 oz and Christian was 5 pounds 4 oz... I can't believe just how big they have grown over three weeks. It seems like just yesterday that they arrived. I know that they will be growing like weeds here soon and I will barly be able to keep up.. LOL Ok well I need to go do a round of feedings. Mike is at work tonight, he is on 24 hour duty and mom leaves tomarow so I am trying to make sure that I have it all together. I will be sure to keep you all up to date as we go and please know that we love and miss you all very much!!!! Oh also, I just got their pictures from the hospital so I will be sure to get the birth anouncements and get them out as soon as possible.. Again we love and miss you all very much!!!!
